@fuugon Good question. Concentrates is the material that has been concentrated with a sluice box or dredge. The lighter material has been removed and the heavier material like black sand and gold is saved, thus the concentrates.
By the way, which sluice is that you are running? I though it was a MacKirk, but now I think it may be another. I was wondering if you have it set too high? Too much pitch? I haven't used that style, but I run mine much flatter.
I was surprised to see the Roaring Camp Guy run his so steep and fast and still retain so much fine gold. I panned his tailings and only found a couple of specks.
@kgphoto I also have put this together differently than he set his up. The vibrators are in different places. Mine is not as portable as his but can be taken apart and transported. I bring all my concentrates home to run them so I don't need the portability that he has. I use a different sluice box. All different than his.
How closely did he copy them? Did he make any improvements? I understand that you are not selling them. I just think it might be nice to acknowledge his advancements. Clearly he is starting with a blue bowl device. I have heard about the moving of the water valves but the use of the vibrators, especially the single direction vibrators is new to me.
@kgphoto He also has used other peoples ideas to developed his Gold Lab. I saw a video years ago of the hopper system that he uses. I saw that video long before he ever built.the Gold Lab. Should he pay them?
Great job, what did you use for that feeder and the hopper? Looks just like the real deal from the guys in Oregon. Is that blue and yellow feeder nozzle an old solder sucker tube.
@kimdaviscali That is a spout I bought at wall mart. And the hopper is a funnel I also got at Wal-Mart. I have made changes to that feeder. I took the spout off on put just a cap with small hole on. I am in the process of adding a water dripper to the hopper. That is the only way to get total control over the feed rate.

@kgphoto And I do have great respect and admiration towards him. In my opinion he has a fantastic product. It is just to costly for what it is.

Looks like you are doing a good job copying all the ideas of the original inventor's work. Did you send him any money for using his ideas?
