@hopheadandporter just asking because its good. I make beer at home and its nice to see such ladies drinking good stuff. I go to places and these chicks drink bud light all the time i mean who likes bud light.
@logik316 This beer was supposedly crasfted after finding drinking vessels in King Midas tomb, inwhich they did tests on and found the make up of this beer in these 2700 year old drinking vessels. King Midas has been remembered in Greek mythology as being able to turn anything he touched into gold, hence the name Midas touch. I have never had this beer but I would love to try it.
I suppose that would be an appropriate name for it then. Do you think they were able to recover any viable yeast from those ancient pots? It would be pretty cool if they cultured 2700 year old yeast and made it available to homebrewers and bakers.
i'm glad you did this beer. i have been thinking of drinking this beer for a while. chick beer? 9% is no chick beer. i expected it to be purple. fun video
Great review. First time I saw three people do a review without a lot of talkover. I love Dogfish Head but haven't tried this one yet. I'll be sure to sample it when I go to their Brewery in a couple of weeks.
Pretty good review you three "Beer Goddesses!" :-)

Whoever thought of naming a beer "midas touch"? Makes it sound like something that comes out of a car muffler.

@TrevorsGarden Yes we know, the "would you buy a six pack" is our rating system. More fun than the 1-10 most people use.
