I fully understand chemistry, although you had no way of knowing that. I didn't say there were any artificial chemicals added to extract sauces, I merely said that they TASTED artificial. Pepper extract doesn't occur naturally on its own, it has to be taken out of peppers by CHEMICAL processes, so it tastes off.

However,about an hour after this,my stomach felt like a hole was being burned in it.

dunno, scientists say couple things actually, 1 tolerances have built up due the large amonts injested over time 2, the capsaicin as a nerve toxin has made the pain receptors shut down due to overload 3,Or maybe you can now pump out so many endorphins due to pain from chillies that it can also ease the sensation of pain

basically, started doing tests a certain way so got to keep same, can be hectic sometimes though :D
