As a Judoka I always loved that Trix throws people with a Tomoe-Nage - my favourite technique.

One of the best and most sinister moments (imo) is when the player comes upon the forsaken landscape where the sign "Doomed Only" sits as a ghastly warning to what lies (undead) just beyond the skull adorned barrier. Then, when the exceptionally ominous tune (beginning at 0:40:43) starts, it really pulls together a threatening grimmness that makes the game that much more compelling. That tune (also heard in a few other locations) really punches up the dire and bleak tone of the game.

1. A man-eating praying mantis...the chewing of the heads makes me laugh my ass off.

2. A scorpion with an electric sting.

3. To be as overpowered as that centaur woman was. I mean, come on, she has four legs already but she can ride the beasts? I love it!

....oh, and 4. Endless lives.

Would be excellent as an XBLA game.

Death Adder made a terrific final boss, I was very impressed with his powerful magic shield.

There are 2 true chicks in the Golden Axe legacy: Tyris Flare is THE true Amazon chick from the first game, and Dora is the Kentauride who's half chick, half horse who wields a pugil stick. Who would YOU do, an Amazon or a Kentauride?

i remember playing this at the city got to the end but ran our of quarters. The final boss kept reviving himself everytime i beat him. There was another game i sort of remeber, it was like this game but u can choose different magics with ur character, i choose this wizard guy cus he had that cool blizard magic or something

I'd know those screams anywhere, when death adder falls off the dragon at the end thats the sound of then the fat cop falls out the helicopter in first blood !!..

And golden axe arcade version allso uses ramdo sounds lol !!!

When they normal troops die they make the sound of the ginger guy in ramdo getting stabed in the knees,

The game has a Centaur in it; I'm not really that surprised they would use Hellenic lettering. Most of the game seems to be inspired by that period.

This franchise surpass the arcade distinction since Golden Axe II, and that came before Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder. And plot continuity aspects can incorporate all the games in the series because they don't actualy contradict themselves, no matter what platform where they targeted or which studio handled them.
