Hi, I strengthened up the wings and made a number of structural changes which enhance this aircraft platform for endurance, stability and autopilot. Feel free to view some of these upgrades on botmite.com While CF or carbon fiber tubing is used on botmite-1, additional wing stabilizers are in progress to hold fast the wings during windy or turbulent conditions. Fiberglass fishing rod stiffening has the advantage of minimal interfering with remote control operation.
Great looking my friend. Im looking into doing the same, but maybe bigger, im going for 2 meters span for carrying gopro cam. How did you stiffen depron in the wings?
@RCFoam : sorry, my English not good, but i try answer , i use bamboo split 2mm x 2 meters x 2 person. or tube number 2 and 3 of the fishing-rod. thank you.
