Well also i should know because i have professionally recorded with a record business before, so when you record you get many chances to make it sound better,a nd when you play live you get that one chance to try and not mess up, but you do sometimes but we try, also i know, my band plays live.
Ive seen ava live 5 times now... everyone performance ive seen was perfect... this one on the other hand sounds terrible... and live singing sounds bad a lot of the time on videos. so thats just adding to it.

Well for starters Pantera and Mastodon don't really need pitch correction. Rancid are a street punk band so clean vocals aren't really needed and I don't really listen to Green Day but I'm sure for some notes on some songs they needed auto tune...

I dont even hate tom hes one of my fave artists, but the vocals here are shit, and his vocals are very edited in the studio. Green day dont use auto tune. neither did blink b4 enema listen to the difference!

i think it came out in 97 not 100%. the vocals from dude ranch to enema are different as well coz thats when they had good production values on the albums. ot hating just telling the truth. toms never been a great live singer legend none the less. and this performance is particulary bad ive seen him do alot better hell ive seen ava live twice.

Which they are great live, but the vocal quality isn't near as good as on album like you claim. it means if you were to use that during a live show you're not going to get the sound you want due to not much time to test it out, like you would in a studio environment, but in the studio, you just do multiple takes and tracks of the vocals to get it right, so no there is no pitch correction use in the ava live setup
the vocals are actually really good, hes just singing the lyrics in a different style, me, as being a professional musician, can understand what hes doing, hes trying to create variety in their live shows, i love it, its awesome. so learn something about music before you judge, STUART182!
