awe, that last dog looks a lot like my dog. I adopted my babies from our local shelter. It really breaks my heart to know that their are people out there that are this cruel to animals.

Dog prostitution. All breed registries needs to make laws on who can breed dogs. As long as papers are easy to get with no limit people will do this forever. Wait they dont need pappers people are stupid enough to buy the puppies anyways!

A puppy mill was busted just outside of town and our newly rescued pug was a breeder there. She has had at least one litter and she isn't a year old herself.

House training is difficult, as she was raised to eat sleep and eliminate waste all in the same cage.

So many messes! But when I look into her sweet face and see nothing but love and trust, I don't care how long it takes...she is worth it.

I agree with galopa95 on every front except one. Man is an omnivore by nature. Look at our teeth! That is what God intended. He put us here to care for animals and treat them humanely...not to harm them. But he also put them here as a source of food. Sad but true!

Whatever harm we do to others an animals, we are hurting ourselves. Man was not designed to eat meat. only carnivouros animals eat meat. that is part of the reason of so many deseases. Look to herbiborus animals, like the elefant etc, how strong they are. Don't do any harm to any thing. We are all connected.

It's amazing how that pug and the other dogs shown in this video instantly showed signs of love and trust towards their rescuers, even when they had humans breed them over and over again, with not one word of kindness in labor, almost all their lives. :) We need to learn from animals!

A person/business that mass-breeds dogs. They are kept in confined spaces and severely neglected (emotionally, medically, etc). They treat them inhumanely and they are nothing more than money to the puppy mill operator. The females are bred over and over until they are no longer of use. The HSUS videos do a great job of showing conditions at the puppy mills. They sell them to pet stores and make quite a profit due to love overhead costs (small spaces, no cage floors, little/no vet care).

That is a wonderful question and it is great that u r taking the time to educate yourself on this matter. You kno those cute playful little balls of love u buy from the pet store. well these are the parents to that lucky pooch. Puppy mills r large scale breeding facilities for dogs. Except the not so pretty side of the horrible facilities are the dogs being bred are treated cruely and are just kept in their cages for the duration of their sad existance to produce as many puppies as they can.
