    plzz let me know

  • @ankit866 This method I show only works for intel based systems as this method shows how to install OS X with the Vanilla Kernel (unmodified kernal system) AMD systems use a legacy kernal (modified kernal system) there are other tutorials showing how to do AMD systems but I highly recommend you doing it on an intel based system using this method because it is a lot easier and stable to get this system working in the long run, especially when it comes to updating the system.

  • @y09ur7pr1d3 can u tell me how can i use modified kernal...???

do i hav to download a file or wat.??

  • dear frndz.... i am trying install to mac os lion 10.7.2 on my hp dv 6 2105ee.. but its not boot from my lap... what should i do? anyone have idea..please..send by mail suneer.kadooran@gmail.com

  • I'm a bit confused now. So the hard drive you are installing Lion on already had OS X Snow Leopard on it correct? You used that HD to create the unibeast USB correct, not the other HD?

  • @AustinBorunda I already had a 1TB HDD that had both Lion and Windows 7 Dual booted on it, at the start I was on Lion on that main HDD, then I installed on Lion on an old spare hard drive and that was only because so I didn't have to re-install everything on my current hard drive and I use that old hard drive when I experiment things then if it succeeds I install it on my main HDD. And when Lion got brought out last year, yes at the time I used Snow Leopard on my hack pro to upgrade.

  • @AustinBorunda However you don't have to have Snow Leopard on your hackintosh already in order to upgrade to Lion, that part is optional, you can install Lion directly from your Unibeast thumb drive with the latest version of Lion which at the moment is still 10.7.2 and it can be installed on a blank drive (assuming you have compatible specs) and Unibeast has the boot loader and the Lion installer on it, I hope those things I said answered your question and good luck.

  • I have the same exact motherboard, ATI 5850, Intel i7 6 core, and your tutorial worked like a charm, thank you, i have been trying to get a Hackintosh working for a while, and this worked perfect.

  • @DrunkinSknk Glad to help! That was the main reason why I made this tutorial because hackintoshing can seem daunting to learn, especially if you're doing it on a ASUS board rather then a Gigabyte board as Gigabyte seem to be a lot more popular for hackintoshing over ASUS.

  • @y09ur7pr1d3

I got 2 questions, for you if you could help, when i use garageband and my keyboard, i get a cracking sound, music and videos work like a charm, but my keyboard cracks, its a usb keyboard.

Also when i use all six slots of Ram, the os does not recognize it and tells me to move them from the triple channel ram to dual channel

    Thanks

  • @DrunkinSknk What sound drivers do you use? The Sound drivers I use that work the best without any static or cracking sound is the Realtek ALC 889 sound drivers, under Muiltibeast tick these three things: ALC8xxHDA, AppleHDA Rollback and ALC 889, if you still have problems with the sound then try the new improved ALC 889 that tonymacx86 recently put up, as for the RAM problems can you tell me these things:Did you use Easybeast or UserDSDT? If you used UserDSDT what system definition did you use?

  • @y09ur7pr1d3 For the sound, i used those exact same drivers, for Multibeast i used Easybeast

  • @DrunkinSknk For the RAM problem, it could be because your machine is not running the proper DSDT and therefore not completely recognizing your motherboard to get the DSDT file for your motherboard go to the forum link in the video description to download the DSDT for your motherboard and reinstall Lion on a SEPARATE hard drive and use the UserDSDT option this time, as for the crack sound for the keyboard I'm not sure what the problem is for that, idk if it's the keyboards fault or the sound.

  • @DrunkinSknk I suggest you try asking the forum on tonymac about your keyboard sound problem as I haven't come across or seen a problem like that before and if the UserDSDT option works fine when you install Lion on a separate hard drive then that's when you mess with your primary hard drive to fix it up, just be careful that you don't screw it up, to be safe then sorry have everything backed up! Good luck and let me know how that goes!

  • @y09ur7pr1d3

I tried reinstalling Lion on another hdd and used the userUSDT, and it still happens, i tried the new Drive, still happens, i updated to 10.7.2, icloud and app store work, still cracking with garageband, updated garageband, still cracking, it seems like thats the only program, i have logic and things work fine.

Again thanks for your help, will give Tonymacx86 a shot

  • Does it work for Asus P5G41T-M LX3?

  • @Revant96 According to forum users, people have been able to successfully install Snow Leopard on that board, so Lion should most likely work on it if that's the case as Lion is more compatible friendly then Snow Leopard, also what video card do you have? because that is important to know as well, my advise if you want to do this, do it on spare hard drive that you don't care much about, if it succeeds then do it on your main hard drive you use, for the sake of so you don't lose anything.

  • Will it work with my motherboard?

    According to CPU Z its:

Manufacturer: Lenovo, Model: Emerald Lake FAB1

  • @hmm1488 To be honest I'm not 100% sure, if you want to do this, I suggest you do it on an old hard drive you don't care about to see if works first, if it succeeds then that's when you install it on your main hard drive so you don't lose anything on your comp.

  • !..yeah am still gonna try this:D n will let yu kno if it works for me ..:p thnxx !!!

  • @princerke19 Well I'll be honest I'm not 100% sure if Lion will work for you because I can't find that many results from people who have the same motherboard as you do, also the video card is important for this to work properly. My advise is don't try this unless you find enough promising results from other people who have the same board as you do because I can't find many promising results about your board, but if you still want to try this please let us know whether it succeeds or fails

  • at what point on this video do you show installing the mac os on the usb? sorry.

  • @IDaRsHaNI Which part you referring to? The part where I show you to transform the USB drive to become the unibeast installer goes from 3:10 to 6:30, the part where I'm showing the installation of Lion goes from 12:50 to 18:30
