Sure was. I shaped what I needed from boat builders foam & had it fibre glassed over. Inside the gaurd is some flexable rubber pipeing with a 80mm PVC elbow entering the filter box & another at the other end to connect the snorkel. Big river is a good track..when was the last time you went through it..the bog in the middle getting bad best to take the creek now..
