ALL of my spirit guides left me after I failed my PT test in the Army, and then a spirit guide took me under his wing while I was in the chapters unit, I THOUGHT it was Eligor but he told me that was just a name he was using to give me the idea that he was warrior spirit, but he wasn't the actual Eligor, he hasn't told me his name yet, but he's guided me to good choices in spiritual tools and I'm fairly eager to figure out more about him.
I think your mind wasn't allowing you to see her/him completely.. kinda like a blurry/hazy dream. Our minds protect and block out what it doesn't understand and/or what its not comfortable with. So, its probably your spirit guide... but meet them and meditate with them more often and they're form will probably materialize for you much clearer and real.

@nahu182 my experience was very similar to yours, i was very young and absolutely terrified when this person tried to talk to me. i still remember parts of the conversation which are very personal to me. you might even possess psychic abilities and not be aware of them.

It works anytime, all the time, but really only when everything around you and all the thoughts in your head are quiet. Your best luck for starters is to try it at night when you are lying in bed. I believe that your guide(s) and friends are always listening and watching so you can talk to them whenever you want to. Then relax, clear your mind, and be patient. Don't force anything.

The dreams are much more vibrant and detailed. Is that correct? The true spiritual guides only accept donations or do it because they wish to help for free. Every person has their own path. I had a hard time finding some mentors as well but found an underground in my area. You can ask me some questions but I am by no means the perfect teacher. I sense them when I am fully awake, but I have trouble directly communicating with them. I'm pretty sure it's something I can develop though. Right now, my best conversations are when I'm meditating.
I've tried to find a spiritualist church, or a sacred space, but the nearest one that I've found is in another city on the other side of the state. It's like an hour and a half drive and I can't constantly be driving that far. I still want to visit them when I can, though.
Finding a place where you can tap into your subconcius is more about tuning into the mood than about the place itself. Higher ground usually does it :) Easier to rise above the everyday confusion when you're higher.

If no WHEN you find a mentor be sure to spread the wealth should you find something that works for you.
There are some good on-line classes for Lucid dreaming and OBE techniques.
See Gnosticawakenings while I've not gone OBE, YET, I did have a lucid dream and it was very cool! Using a clock at 3:am is the best technique, I think.

I am a "spiritual" person, but from what I can tell this entire video is bullshit. This girl is just making things up. You dont just "Go into a trance and open your chakras" just like that. I also found it strange that she has been trying for SO LONG (and then she adds on, around a month) A month is such a small stretch of time for something big like this.

It works anytime, all the time, but really only when everything around you and all the thoughts in your head are quiet. Your best luck for starters is to try it at night when you are lying in bed. I believe that your guide(s) and friends are always listening and watching so you can talk to them whenever you want to. Then relax, clear your mind, and be patient. Don't force anything.

The dreams are much more vibrant and detailed. Is that correct? The true spiritual guides only accept donations or do it because they wish to help for free. Every person has their own path. I had a hard time finding some mentors as well but found an underground in my area. You can ask me some questions but I am by no means the perfect teacher. I learned to see my guardian angels through meditation as well and see auras.

It's not really that hard to talk to your guide telepathically. Just close your eyes, clear your mind and first just say hello and wait for a response. And not only has Serena lived but she's in a place where she can remember every life and look back on it from another level.
