I've LOVED The 3 Stooges since my early childhood. IMPO, I don't think there has been anything close to this that can provide me with the same level of laughter. Anyway, as far as the movie is concerned, I think it's a big mistake. HOPEFULLY, it's a success so that more people can know about The 3 Stooges BUT, from the trailer that I seen, sigh, it doesn't look funny at all.
Also I think the coming remake takes everything from the slapstick branch of comedy and The Stooges that I see as bad (physical violence and the sort of sexism belonging to a previous era that should be much more limited in our present time) and leaves all the bits of good writing and far more "ageless" humor out of it. All signaling a heartless cashing in with the least effort to the writers.

I also like Shemp..alot of people dont...but shemp had alot of phycial gags as well and was just as funny as curly! On a side note shemp was in the orginal line up for the stoogies during the vaudville years. Curly came in as a replacement when they started filming the shorts.

Public Domain shorts. Not even the infamous 4, just 3 of them. No "Sing a Song of Six Pants." Good shorts, but it doesn't help that I've seen these a ton, on cheap dollar store DVDs and such.

I was born in 1990 and still the Three Stooges are the funniest comedians ever. When others were watching cartoons, my family would all watch the Three Stooges together and I loved it. I learned you don't need dirty jokes to be funny, you just gotta be funny and these guys were

106 people have the mind set of the future generation.
I watched this, had Pokemon cards, a Yo-Yo, fat ugly TVs with those lines in it, black and white newspapers, those retarded clothes of the 90's that looked somewhat old and new. But, these people today got flat screen TVs, iPods, iPads, iPhones, iTouches, i this, i that, PS3s, Wii, Xbox 360s, 1080p BluRay footage, even games are almost close to looking like real life. And they're disliking this? Pff.. They just don't know how it was ...

@CreativePotion i own a ps3, a Wii, I used to have an XBox 360, a Blu-Ray player, The Expendables on Blu-Ray, a Verizon Kin One (or is it Onem?), EA MMA, I have my own page on Bleacher Report (spare me the knocks on B/R, I've heard it all before), I've seen Borat and Bruno, Get Him To The Greek, Tosh.0, South Park, Family Guy, The Simpsons, Anchorman, Numa Numa,Charlie bit My FInger, and more stuff than I care to count...and yet I've appreciated Three Stooges since I was in elementary school.
