Australian Survivor IS different than the American version but can't say that it's "worse". Different country, first (and only?) season, different people, critters, culture, etc. Biggest diff I've noticed is the soundtrack - the US ver has MUCH better music, lol!!! That's prob just my bias, tho - I'm American. Don't MIND this one, tho - it's just different, which isn't always bad, right?

Lucinda voted for herself? Who in their right mind votes for themself? I know all other versions of Survivor its a rule that you can't. But still, that's dumb
@S0ra101 She says at the finale that she voted for herself so that none of the other members of Kadina would have previous votes cast against them in the event of a tied vote post-merge. Remember this was back when the number of votes cast against castaways at previous tribal councils was used as a tie-breaker after a re-vote.
The last season they saw before this filmed was Survivor: Australia, where the Kucha tribe got screwed because Jeff was voted out at the merge due to a countback.
