@sarkasmi83 I bought mine last year when it came out and in the time I've had it its broken down once, the hard drive randomly corrupted itself one day, could have just been a very unlucky fluke but ever since its been fine although I barely play on it.

I must say though at first it is whisper quiet but then it gets just as noisy as the previous one was after a bit of use.

Ive had my Xbox 360 S for about 2 weeks now and it is fucking SWEET. the 250GB hdd a big step up from my lousy 20GB drive. Now i can install most of my games onto my hdd and still have room for a shit ton more stuff. The Wireless N is ridiculously fast and the touch sensitive buttons are a cool feature and i think it helps with disc tray problems and i dont think it will get stuck like my old system. also it is indeed whisper quiet and when u play games off the hdd you cant even hear it.
