What's up with this 10 round max. bullshit on mags in California and New York? I have six 19-round mags for my XDM9 here in Atlanta. The XDM feels better in hand than my Glocks but the accuracy is about the same, that is to say...GREAT!!!

Dudes, honestly, the best gun to have on hand and loaded to destroy an intruder is a rovolver. No need to worry about compressed for too long follower springs or feed lip creep. Yes, a rovolver can only hold 5-7 rounds, but just one .38, .357, or .44 mag hollow point round pumped into the bad guy is going to fuck up his day or night depending on what time the punk ass bitch breaks into your house.
@youchris67 Having your magazine springs compressed for extended periods of time does not wear them out. Its the constant cycling that wears it out over time. That said, nothing wrong with a revolver either. Whatever works for you is best.

@spoonman372 Your right about the mags, easy fix though. I have 3 mags for every gun, keep 1 loaded for 3 or four weeks then unload it and load another, been doing that for 3 years with my sr9 and all 3 still work great ( at the range of course)

I have a XD 9mm sub-compact hardly been used, mabey 200 rounds. when I went to grab it today the back silver pin that lets you know that its already cocked was already sticking out. I took the clip out and tried to dry fire and nothing happened. Now the gun wont even cock, yet it will still load the chamber but the fireing pin wont release. Any suggestions?

i used a few diff kinds of ammo, American Eagle PMC and wolf..trust me dont use wolf! no jams or anything but it would get stuck in my mags. PMC is good and not too expensive.. Thanks for watching!

Sweet piece. I'm waiting for the 45 though. If you plan to conceal it well, get a blade-tech in-pant holster. Mine works awesome! I just found the same 9 for $570 though. I love Cabela's, but they are a bit steep.

They might not be better than glocks but they sure can stand right up there with it. at least the XDM has a a steel guide rod and trigger. unlike glocks plastic ones..not to mention the the MATCH grade Barrel.and i can choose what size i want my grip to be..and 20 rounds of 9mm is not bad either...

well where i live a few of our neighbors got their homes broken into, and one night i woke up around 1 am and our hose door was wide open.. that was a huge scare. fortunately we did not get robbed. nor did we find an intruder, thank god, so i went out and pick up a gun...plus guns kick ass.

no, those bullets in the mags are airsoft, they dont hurt! you can shoot yourself in the leg all day

no it wont loosen. its actually quite hard to take out.lol i must of changed my strap like 10 times and its always a bitch to get out.

i used a few diff kinds of ammo, American Eagle PMC and wolf..trust me dont use wolf! no jams or anything but it would get stuck in my mags. PMC is good and not too expensive.. Thanks for watching!

Thank you! i wish i had gotten the 40 cal but they were out. this will end up being my home defense pistol. i plan on getting a XD sub-compact 40 cal..cabela's can be pricey but they have a far better selection than my local shops.. thanks for the comment and good luck with your 45!

Sweet piece. I'm waiting for the 45 though. If you plan to conceal it well, get a blade-tech in-pant holster. Mine works awesome! I just found the same 9 for $570 though. I love Cabela's, but they are a bit steep.

This is by far the greatest 9mm known to man right now. Seriously how can anyone say that a Glock or a sig can be better than this?? Also the carrying case and accessories?? Who else does that? Dude I'm so jealous of your gun. I can't wait till this December when I'm 21 to pick this gun up. How much did you pay for it?

I have shot both of those guns, and quite honestly both get the job done, but the XDM-9 is hands down, by far the best 9mm in its class.

Also the first thing you do is not waste money on a tactical light, you buy new sights, the sights on the XD are far from great.

XDs are great guns for the price. Still dont hold up to Glocks sorry to say but they are nice none the less.

They might not be better than glocks but they sure can stand right up there with it. at least the XDM has a a steel guide rod and trigger. unlike glocks plastic ones..not to mention the the MATCH grade Barrel.and i can choose what size i want my grip to be..and 20 rounds of 9mm is not bad either...
