@redl3ss Devin Townsend's Ki album is great. Karnivool are a little similar, probably a bit less creative though. Also I recommend Sleepytime Gorilla Museum for bands that are pretty unknown but freaking amazing.

@primusbassslap3 the h is silent too 'mɑːkiːn(insert upside down e here)/'. but you're absolutely right (or as right as one can get on youtube about an dead language anyway : D ) that's what a songwriter gets when he tries to sound smarter than he actually is. he probably force read some Horace or Aristoteles 'to get bright ideas' and found an 'cool' sounding concept, though completely neglecting to look up the proper pronunciation. nevertheless, it's a good song.

I prefer their 70s sounding prog rock stuff, but this is my favourite track from this album. In fact the whole album is pretty good, just an entirely different animal.

I always thought it sounded a little under-produced though. Mixing and mastering is a bit off in places.
