You also get the fury package which makes it 12 tracks forwards and backwards... alomng with special courses for detonator.... Game is a must have, theres so much contained in those 12 tracks and the difficulty ihigh at times... I f you suck at video ames this game is NOT for you.

The game has all the music featured in the trailer. What is also bad ass is that you can listen to ANY of your own music while playing the game using created playlists. Probably the best game i have played on the PS3. Especially the Eliminator game mode. Fantastic.

8 tracks? That's it?! Graphics look too simple IMO, explosions nothing spectacular. Frame rate is expected to get 60 frames per second! It would be great if the landscapes and tracks looked more interesting, more jumps, twists, sonic lifts, and more tracks; based on the trailer, nothing's improved but the graphics. I generally like futuristic racers a la F-Zero. WipeOut could be so much more appealing and sell better if the designers go all out with more tracks, innovation, and imagination.

Yeah, but there's Fury now, eight more tracks. F-Zero X was my fav game until I played Wipeout 64, and now I play HD about two hours a day. I still play things like F-Zero GX, but trust me, this is so much better. Why not rent it, and not just decide it looks bad by watching one trailer?

I've been an avid fan since no.1 and was anxious about this version, but it looks cool. still doesn't look like the handling from 2097 (which had the best steering feel, imho), but way better than fusion, which was just tripe.

This is one of the few psn games that live up to the full features of the ps3. It has trophies and in-game access to music stored on the hard drive while playing the game. Now if Sony could just address their memory issues with the in-game xmb so in-game access to music stored on the hard drive during gameplay could be a system wide feature.
