Not to belittle the effort but I don't see the point of lifting a sandbag that heavy when combined with a brupee type exercise? Wouldn't it be more productive to lighten the weight to enable a more prolonged continuous movement for better results?
Cool! I finished 3 rounds of it yesterday..managed to break two of my innerbags in the first round.. Fixed it with new, strong plastic bags. Will make a "how-to" later this week.
lol, sorry, I missed the beginning of the vid for some reason.
I've been doing pretty well on my fat loss for a few weeks, but I think I'm going to take a more aggressive approach this week, meaning I'm going to be doing some element of cardio every day, on top of my strength workouts. This will basically double my cardio. Should be fun!
I just did a new workout I call the Babbis Modified! It's as follows:
Sandbag (150lbs) Burpie w/Sandbag Press (instead of shouldering)
D/Bell Clean&Press (75-100lb D/Bell)
Pushups (No extra weight!)
--90 to 120seconds Rest between circuits--
I try to do 4 circuits of that. I only did 3 circuits and I was exhausted, so I think I'll have to add it to my regular routine. Thanks for the inspiration bro!
Yes exactly, the clean and press is done right after the burpie, so 1 Burpie + 1 Sandbag C&P = 1 Rep (I wondered if my explanation was a bit muddled, lol). Today I'm almost recovered from it, so I may do it again, although I'm still trying to develop a good mix of strength workouts and conditioning workouts throughout the week. Actually, for a conditioning workout I might just do this workout, but lighten the weights.
Well, I did start out with 10.5 fat% so this is just a experiment to lower it. I work part time as a personal trainer and losing fat is what most people want, even people that start out with a low fat%.
I think you need to put on 10-15lbs of muscle before you try to lose more fat. You're very strong and ripped indeed, but also quite skinny as it is

What about back injuries?
This exercise looks a bit dangerous, easy to do wrong.

Nice! Do you mean that you clean and press the sandbag instead of shouldering it? Great job! Keep creating my man! You can only get fitter...:D
