  • : O orra programa livre é? q doidera xD

  • Daria tudo pra ver um show deles :/

  • it's not music, stupid

  • carai, só descobri o video por causa dos 30 anos do sbt... ha vida alem do chavez

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • tro tro class, jadore jadore et jadore

  • i think by that time this band wasnt well know (especcially to the crowd)and I agree that the piano part was out of place (and "out of vibe"). Anyway is a great song up-to-day.Oh, we musnt fortget the real live play (not playbacks like moderns bands/singers like britney s*&#@ generation).

  • So godam missplaced! Still they rocks!

  • wtf billy just cant sing

  • @GeneralEisenhower Yes he can't sing but he can convey emotion in a very powerful way. That's why you've ever heard of him. And he's a good songwriter. Bob Dylan can't sing too ;)

  • Plateia rídicula

  • I love the gritty feel to this performance... too bad someone didnt have better recording equipment

  • what a weird show =) but the songs fits perfectly^^

  • lol both the drummer and the keyboardist are bald just like billy

  • marry me d'arcy

  • i love these guys, and i love james, but dammit iha isn't a very graceful player lol ... he sounds great but watching his hands is painful!

  • @twcatube yea the way he strums is sort of awkward looking... but it works i guess?

  • It was cool to see the way the kids moved to the groove. My only criticism of this performance was the jazzy keyboard solo, it seemed out of place, doesn't fit with the heavy vibe of this tune.

  • @tchimmerroks funny, when they "tone it down" before the keyboard part, it's almost like they didn't want to. i agree, it's a bit out of place.

  • @tchimmerroks

Yeah, that keyboard solo was just shit, and the look on Corgan's face was like "why did I allow this?"

  • wow, live it's even more awesome than the studio, and the studio version is pretty amazing

  • My brother who is two always says 'You ready to rock' the same time Billy does. Turning into a Smashing Pumpkins fan at the age of two :)

  • lol when the piano solo comes, billy is like "You done yet?" lol

  • Dammit... when they come to Brazil i wasn't borned, shit! *-*

  • @ 1:21 scratches his nose

i'm looking forward to seeing these guys in brazil in november!

  • its not a closed show. ppl there arent necessarily fans of smashing pumpkins. billy and co were only one of the attractions

  • MY GOD! What a shame to Brazil! We are known by the crazy and energic crowds, but in this video, the people are almost dead...

Please, Smashing Pumpkins, come again and we promisse we will be the craziest crowd you've ever seen!

  • D'arcy - You can do that on my face;0 Seriously great song but not my favorite version.

  • @DeathRockHippie - changed my mind this is fucking great.

  • Ma il batterista è Ciccio Graziani!!!

  • @LazzaSS grandissimo!

  • @LazzaSS

    ecco chi mi ricordava!

    XD

  • Great!!!!

  • I hate his voice.

  • @GLaMpuNKeR - Its beautiful isnt it? haha thats why i dig this dude..genius songwriter and you dont have to have a voice like candy to front a band. You could do it too!

  • When Iha makes a solo...

Really cool! The way he moves his hands is a rare thing. Looks like they're split from his body! He's a really talented guy, and he's so cool!

  • @FriedChickenofDeath6

It was a travesty when James left. A link that should never have been overlooked.

  • I approve of this version more then the studio version

  • This is their best live song.

  • but the band performed the song!?

  • Man the cheeesy dancing in the background is annoying me! Great performance though!

  • Nossa! Eu lembro!

    Bons tempos!

  • too fucking good

  • Billy was born in 1967. So he was 21 when they formed and 26 when Siamese Dream came out.

That would make him 43 or almost 43 now.

  • Maaaaaan, why can't Billy scream like this anymore? It's awesome!

  • @Mbarnardexperience He's in his 40s now. 20 years of performing takes its toll yanno...

  • honestly when Siamese Dream came out he mustve been like young twenties idk if hes in his forties yet.

  • He would be close, Siamese Dream came out early 90's, if he was in his 20's then, he would be very near to 40 or in his 40's already.

  • you gotta figure though, the pumpkins were formed in 1988 when billy was 19 or 20 because he lived in florida previously and was a member of an unsucessful band

  • O baterista é irmão do Joe Satriani? uhehuehuehue

  • Response to everyone saying how self centered billy is.

He's not self centered at all .

It's all the pressure of the band and everything that led him .

After the death of I that guy (forgot his name) but he was umm the pianist or something well they were getting high and they over did it I suppose so he died and then the jimmy episode. You really have to think of people circumstances no one wants to be a pain in the ass.

  • fokkin right dude

every band has it s head

    like the wolfes

    bill does it good

hope he get s D`arcy back

  • why did it come up as ava adore billy corgan instead of smashing pumpkins?

  • 'cause he wrote the lyric

  • still its the whole band

  • i love how in this video, you feel like this is all the band was able to pull off due to the set-up of the venue. but it starts building and building to explosion of sound and performance of the band. it's ridiculous to see. fuck yeah pumpkins.

  • lol they almost look like the mars volta with so many instruments on stage, and this version is way cool!

  • even 100 "usual" drummers can't relieve Jimmy... and now he left Pumpkins again :(

  • nice sexy girl dancin over there!

  • Love the band. Only if Billy wasn't such an asshole the band would still be together. He was so self centered. But the greatest band of all time

  • exactly man i love the pumpkins but id never work for billy - he'd want to do everything and basically be a prick to you for nothing

  • without d'arcy and james, there is no pumpkins.

    viva pumpkins!

  • @lostalex77 in total agreement!!

  • There's something about Billy that seems like he never grew up all the way. It's like he's still a teen, and alone.

    Great performance though.

  • D'Arcy take me home

  • @karolecampesine

    more like D'arcy marry me

  • Smashing é foda! Brasil rules

  • The crowd look like a bunch of starving bored kids!! Give them food instead of rock!!

  • i wonder whos that drummer? can anyone tell me?

  • Masterpiece

  • I agree. Billy Corgan reminds me the singer of an animated band hiting strong here in Italy not being a million dollar production. Search for SWAVE IN THE FUTURE

  • They put on a free show in downtown Minneapolis that year. It was great and they didn't use alot of flashy equipment. I still love old school Pumpkins and this music really helped me through some good and bad times.

  • Agree

  • its weird how james iha always plays with no emotion! He must have really hated being in the smashing pumpkins!

  • no i think it's just his face expression lol...really...i don't believe he hated being in the Pumpkins

  • he loved it until 2000, hes always been shy thats why he plays with ''No expression''

  • I dont think... he is shy

  • Bem foda.....

  • DEMAIS... ainda eles em solo brasileiro!

  • this song is much different live

  • yea, I like it better though.

  • Christ, that Pianist really saved their asses in that one :>

  • If they ever make a movie about the Pumpkins, I want Porche De Rossi to play D'Arci.

  • Awesome!!!

  • Eu assistia Castelo Rá - Tim - Bum nessa hora.

  • The drummer is Mr. Kenny Arnoff

  • Eu assisti!!! Saudade...

Quem diria...

  • fender jaguar by the looks of it

  • Does anybody know, which guitar Billy used?

    It's very important!

  • Comment removed

  • ya thats a fender jaguar

  • haha I fucking failed, Camberlin isn't playing i know now. Sorry.

  • Descendant of Corganism at Amazon

  • what kind of crowd was that? are they disabled?

  • D'arcy the best ass bass:)

  • The crowd is DEAD. Its like they were forced to go when they did'nt want to. Its kinda sad. I love Smashing Pumpkins they deserved more than wat they got.

  • Just 13-14 year old kids from the Jr. High, over 11 years ago, give them a break...

  • @Coolandsexy09 they went for the tv show itself not to see that crappy band play

that tv show is a lot more energetic when good artists play there

  • I love the Pumpkins but when I watch him like this it feels like he's kind of become a caricature of himself. =/

I mean you're only supposed to play that song in the dark in some mysterious place not in broad daylight to a bunch of 7th graders. Look at James face, oh my God this is sad =/

  • sorry dude, but they have to make money, somehow.

  • Chamberlin at least looks happy. And however the gig completely rocks.

  • Comment removed

  • yeah

  • Comment removed

  • chamberlin isnt playing you nube

  • Not Chamberlin dude

  • Best line up.

I have rarely seen such a powerful studio gig.

Reminds me on an H bomb.

  • i love Billy's face at 2:19. he looks like he's about to burst out laughing. dude, I love smashing pumpkins. they are truely one unique and talented band. and yes D'arcy is smoking hot haha.

  • d`arcy e uma gata mesmo hein!!! i love you d`arcy!!!

  • the bass girl are soo hottt.. damn itt !! I love a girl whit a bass.. perfect conection :D

  • I think this is my 5th or 6th comment to this video.

    It`s STILL unbelieveable to me.

  • Yeahhh no Brasil.....Get back pumpkinsss

  • d'arcy comes first of course

  • they sound like ten times better live than on the record

  • weird venue but SP rocks nonetheless...

  • D`arcy looks beautiful!!

  • Smashing performance and yet what a weird venue: squeaky clean kids in the TV audience looking like Mousekateers about to break into nosebleeds. For as subversive a mismatch as this, you have to go back to Love playing on American Bandstand.

  • y couldnt they do this on the album, damn... this is soo jammin

  • who comes first? d'arcy or auf?

  • FUCK. that made me freak out, so sweet. And as said before, cool base line !

  • Comment removed

  • I totally love this performance. Thnx so much for posting.

  • COOL!!!!

  • haaaaaaaa muito foda!!!

eu fui no show deles no hollywood rock aqui no rio!!!

  • D'arcy's a babe

  • Great bass line!

  • AMAJING!!!!

  • SP great as always, but can somebody explain me what the f... is that tv program? is even funny the react of the PUBLIC, they seems like there were in church with hearing gospel

  • hehe i know

  • That's a brazilian tv show where not too many rock bands play, that's why everybody is so quiet... But the audience is high that's why S.P. is playing there, in my opinion wrong choice of tv show, there would be much better ones for S.P.

PS: They rocked in that song

  • I don't know what to think. I'm sure if I was actually there I would be saying something different but watching it over youtube, the song is too full and distorted. I could barely hear the solo and that's one of my favorite parts of this song.

  • nah its just youtube. very bad quality video too.

  • I love how heavy this song is when they play it live

  • Darcy is always hot! Billy Corgan is such an awesome talent.....

  • This is.. an awkward performance at best. I love corgan and the punkins but this is so awkward, Im not used to watching them play with little children behind them

  • I agree... but the performance is still awesome!!!!

  • EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • So much better than album version.

  • fukin awesome

  • great bass performance from darcy and nice piece of ass too!!!

  • Pure rock.

    D`arcy is unbelieveable.

    This song kills my speakers..wooooooooww....

  • miss james iha, smashing pumpkins will never be the same without the original line up, and i dont give a shit what the current line up its doing now , they can just go fuck themselves , their last lp its a fucking piece of shit, totaly rubish, puke on it, fucking imbecile of billy corgan shouldnt reform the band with another musicians

  • go fuck yourself. billy corgan is the fucking smashing pumpkins you goon. without him there would be no music. i hope you get raped by some big black man you fucking prick.

  • what the fuck are u talking about , there would be no music, what music you fucking piece of shit, scumbag, go fuck your mother ass hole , you dont even know what are u talking about, you idiot , the current line up its not smashing pumpkins, they should stay with the fucking swan or whatever the fuck is.

  • good old bald piano player, ready to save the day!!

  • i ment after my father xD

  • hahahahah he sounds like funny in the begginning xD "ready to rock" (no offense) but if you woulda just heard that alone with no picture you woulda think its a 13 year old nerd then.....BOOM!!!! pure heaven of musics shoots out i love billy corgan (yeah im a dude) but i gotta say he is one of my BIGGEST idols before my father thats how much billy means to me :D i love the PUMPKINS i love darcy .....*drooling*
  • Corgan: Ready to rock ? :)

    Serginho groisman: Yah, please.

    ;G~

  • Corgan: Ready to rock ? :)

    Random guy: Yah, please.

  • Man all the live performances from Adore were amazing... great songs but the album versions are so tame... I wouldn't mind a re-recording of the album with Jimmy Chamberlin to get that energy back in there!

  • i love melissa!

  • Am I the only one who prefers this version over the album version?

  • nop, i love it too

    the live version sucks

  • this version is fucking class

  • Hahaha they need all those extra percussionists to make up for what they lost when Jimmy is gone.

  • look (and listen) at 1:32...is sounds like the guitars played 2 differents notes, i think James did a mistake, cause billy is right

  • that's awsome..

darcy looks amazing, james is so cool!!!!

we need d'arcy and james back ..

  • I love how you play that bass darcy ! i miss you baby ;)

  • 1:10 Billy gives a very ferocious roar.

  • I love this song, but I never heard a version that was anywhere near as good as the album version.

  • look up the one on bbc

  • 2:10 Billy looks so pissed at James when he keeps playing!!
