I've got a 96 Skidoo 583RAVE, a 2002 Polaris Indy 800,and a 94 Indy 340. Polaris's have a better ride, skidoos are fast, but heavy and tank-ish, and the one on the top of my to get list is a Arctic Cat Z1 Turbo. Fastest sled off the line in the world. Ran a 9.006 second quarter at 142 mph. Smokin.

Because the rider plays an integral part in keeping a sled from flying out of control when it's descending a hill that steep. 9 times out of 10 when the sled starts moving on it's own like that, it gathers speed very quickly, hits a bump or a rut that makes it buck or tip to one side and then rolls 50 times down the hill. Go watch the hillclimb competition videos here on Youtube, you'll see what I mean.
