I tried the Worths on the Mele ukulele I have and they didn't sound right. Herb Ohta Jr told me that you have to pick the right strings for the particular ukulele.

very nice. you should put some aquila stings on that uke though,the set you have is very muddy/dead.trust me it will be a new uke with those strings.

Thanks. I have used Aquila strings on other 'ukuleles of mine. However, these are the Kamaka strings. I've been generally pretty happy with them.
