f you like the B17 i have a story for u in 1943 UK east harling . Thanks for the upload. Anyone have any idea what the long term prospects for these aircraft are? So sad to see them like this, especially the Shack and the Hunter.
@Hanglands im sorry its been so long but i will be surprised if not all of them but most are not allready garden gates or parts in your car right now a real shame i know but progress im afraid
The Google Earth Coordinates given earlier don't get me even close, but I got there this way. Type Long Marston Airfield into the google earth "fly to - search" function and it will take you straight to it...
You should go to Pima Air Museum. Full of old airplanes like this. Big B17s and all. They used to have the B 17 "Sentimental Journey" there but it looks like someone took and got it running again because I saw videos of it on here.
I belive this is long marston theres a museum there somewhere this place however u can see this on google earth inside the triangle shape of the runway (right corner) i belive there was a ex mod storage place there somewere duno if its the same place or near by. but this defo looks like long marston the DH Sea Venom is no longer there that got moved to donnington nxt 2 east midlands airport also seen on google earth- east midlands airport aeropark - near the very end of the runway
shit cant people go and buy these and restore them back to health instead of letting them rot like a peice of garbage when they are clearly military masterpeices that need to be in a museum
