@EvilShard23 not the gaming system itself, but the change in SONY mentality and the way tey have become killed them. compare ps2 library and genre of game to ps3 and you'll understand, they copy pasted what microsoft was unique for. sony used to be unique also in the ps1/ps2 lifetime. now it lost its appeal.

MIcrosoft 1st came out with xbox and had its own style, that very style was copied by ps3 while the ps2 had another feel. Nintendo follow its own path.

PS2! although it was the less powerfull system, the game library and the features it had made it no1. this prove that power is not what it takes to win. 3ds is already more powerful than the wii so power i that case won't b an issues. true gamers don't play for graphics they play for gaming experiences and the 3ds has it.

@EvilShard23 You want an answer, here! I am a bit disapointed in sony with the ps3 as i was hoping that it would be closer to ps1/ps2 type of games. As for the 3ds, since the games won't be an issues for me on this console (nintendo has never lost its essence), I was hoping high online functionalities and although nintendo started well for 3ds, it still need to be worked on through firmware update because its not perfect(add a friend chat instead if a general post). So there is no cooler for me.
