every LIVE Copa LP I own is quite awful Paul Anka, Connie Francis, Bobby Rydell....the performers themselves give a great performance, but the band????previous comment concerning the clubs sound system lacking is correct!

also the band seemed to come from another era....they just didn't seem to get how to perform the music of the newer generation....LIVE LP's from the 60's seem especially cursed.

This video is sad for me. It's one of the last performances of the original Supremes. Wonder if Cindy was in the audience for this show? Wonder how Flo might have been feeling during this time. Sad. So sad. How I miss the original Supremes........

Diana clicks her voice on this, not as much as other songs but i don't mind it. I know that's where Michael Jackson got it from because clicked his voice a lot too. Good performance though

I love the live stuff, and I love Diana, Mary and Flo, but this was about the time Diana started to click her voice. She did it a lot on the Talk of the Town Album, drives me crazy.

And this really is at the Copa. The earlier Supremes at the Copa album used the original live recording with Diana overdubbing all her vocals perfectly because the Copa was misery to get a decent recording from. I don't know of ANY live at the Copa album that was actually recorded there except for Connie Francis'.

yes the supremes live at the copa was really recorded at the copa berry recorded much stuff there originally some more stuff was wanted to put on the live at the copa album in 65 but berry didn't like the quality

so he just put on a few songs
