Magicka Caverns & Marshlands DLCs - Players to Decide Which Magicka Map is Given For Free!

the cavern map, the major problems are the lack of space and dwarf priest's.

any good user of magicks can deal with the tight space (just dont spam vortex), but damm... i don't care who you are, them priest's are gona take you down.

with lighting immunity, nearly all major damage spells and magicks start doing pathetic damage. and there pure rock projectile can, and will, one hit you.

another thing worthy of note is that magicks like lighting and rain don't work because its under cover.

It's funny that Franchises like CoD can spend tens of millions of dollars making games like Black Ops and then Magicka has basically no budget and is a ton better than $90% of the games out today.

I just want to point out that you guys have basically managed to create a game that is more entertaining, more challenging, and more lengthier than any of the big giant developers around today. The gameplay is dynamic, the comedy is relentlessly good, and the consistent amount of new content you're releasing, for incredibly reasonable prices, is mind bogglingly nice of you.

Good work on beating 99% of the entire games industry with your very first game.

Paradox, please dont turn into activision and release DLC after DLC that cost 10 bucks each (not saying you are, but im getting these wibes when vietnam was released, and now these maps)

I personally love magicka, ill gladly suppoty the devs its not that. Its when its gets redicilous with all the DLC's all the time. gamers (atleast me) dislikes DLC's when they become the "milk the moneycow " developers do to just get more money. Yes im looking at you CoD. Expansions im ok with, DLC's... nah...

@WakkoTheWakken It's CHEAP. Adventure mode is boring after a couple of runs, and the original game only came with two challenge maps. They're releasing another one in a free update, and yet another one for only $2.

The only issue with DLC in my opinion is when the original game didn't come out with enough content, with DLC on day one.

@WakkoTheWakken I completly agree with you there. I think its ok for devs to do the occasional DLC though as long as it adds something to the game that was missing before and it's of good quality. As I have always said, quality over quantity and gameplay over graphics.

@Benderfry789 What maps do you think PvP will be played on? These of course, the first unofficial pvp was played on havindir arena, so all of these challenge maps are going to be PvP battlegrounds later on for sure.

Since I live in Germany I'll probably have to pay 3 bucks for one challenge map anyway because Steam "magickally" turns $ in €.

Anyway, it's not like you get one for free, more like you get one for the price of 2 challenge maps.

Full Game = 10 bucks

15 minutes Addon = 5 bucks

2 challenge maps = 4 bucks (if you had to pay both)

Since I don't think 2 maps cost almost as much as the Vietnam addon with multiple maps, new weapons, new outfits and a new magick you'll have to pay for both
