I was at Trips unveiling of M2 in manhattan which actually took place a couple of months before this conference and he told the same story. Number A class bullshitter. During the after conference luncheon he excused himself and left with this gorgeous blonde. Lol. Anyway, the M2 had lots of promise, it and the platform just killed itself with the initial high price. If not history could have been very different.

I feel very nostalgic watching this, because I own an 3DO M2 development system (3DO M2 / Panasonic video clip on YT). I always wanted to see this press confererence - I knew it exists, because of google cache and websites which refer to it. And thanks to you Grooveraider another "small" dream came true. I wonder if there were any handouts or other things given out. But it's a looong time since then, of course. So, I hope as many people as possible appreaciate your work here, on YT. regards, T.

Thank you very much for posting this, interesting what Trip has to say. I got a 3DO a year or so ago and it has a fascinating library, never seen a system which such a wide spectrum of decent games to pure rubbish. Still enjoy it though, cheers.

@TerryBogard675 - That was me with my sarcastic "Yesssss!" back then. I was working as a "Game Tech" at local miniature golf & amusement place. We had Primal Rage in a full 32" screen cabinet. At the time the game quite popular along with Mortal Kombat series. Primal Rage was like button masher. But I kinda liked the smooth stop-motion character animation in the game ^_^
