i really love this song and Paul Mccartney. i wish John and George we're alive so they could still be freakin' awesome together for like a reunion or whatever. :(

I fucking love Paul McCartney. I fucking love all The Beatles. Prefect can't even begin to describe them, and their music, and their influence on the world. Forever a Beatles fan! <3
paul must die. he is the reason not yoko. he has no soul. if your best friend after twenty or more years died would you not have more to say than " yeah thats a drag"
@readytosmoke People mourn in different ways. Paul has always had a bubbly personality and things don't get him down. That was why lennon and him had collisons. John wanted to use his music to expose the world, Paul want to make things happy. You can't pretend to know their lives and know that Paul wasn't upset.
@readytosmoke fyi: Paul and John were best friends for the longest time, and a while before John was killed, Paul and him and a falling out and weren't speaking anymore. How would you feel? I'd feel like a piece of poop! what was he supposed to do? Cry on television? Break down right then and there? Don't even drag Yoko into this either!
Listen up! It's very important! The rock nation will be attacking Justin Biebers BABY video on September 1st onward ... Remember to dislike, put a comment and flag on the baby vid on sep 1. We need your help to destroy this modern autotune music that has ruled the world. Moog Fatty? Anyone know what Paul was playing (synth) at the start? Looks like a moog or an orange brand of an old analog style synth. Monophonics most likely.
@GorliththeUndead no no no...I'm not trying to compare The Kickass Beatles to that piece of crap Justin Bieber.I'm just how music has gone down the toilet
@hthebeatlesfangirl96 I love you, I want to lop off your skull and munch on your brains, lol, justin kidding, now please insert all 'justa beeper' comments up your "fiendish thingy"
PLz verify the lyric, it says: "Always, no, sometimes, think it's me" but according to other sources says: "Always know sometimes think it's me" which is more clear...
In fact, through the entire song, John contradicts himself and the last verse is not an exception, which increases the possibility of that word being "no", not "know".
In brief, even though it is a non-sense song made for no one to understand it, the lyrics are frequently paradoxal in a certain point. By knowing that, we can assume that the most understandable sentence (if you will) would be "Always, no, sometimes, think it's me". He said something and corrected himself right after.
Socca: It's really not about the orphanage. He took the name as he liked the image it conjured up. The lyric is couched in John's word imagery in part because he didn't have the confidence to just plainly say what he felt. "No one I think is in my tree, I mean it must be high or low" is actually his roundabout way of saying that he felt he was either out of his mind or a crazed genius (and very isolated because of it). The lyrics in this song were written in that manner. Strange but true!
@soccaplaya123456789 the orphanage was called strawberry fields and john lennon used to play in the gardens there, the song is about his memories there
@soccaplaya123456789 First it had a lot of drug inspired words and sounds, also this was a girl's orphanage, knowing John and his wanting girls he was remembering the times he made visits there and thought of the birds he had met there,so with that and the drugs you get a twisted love song.
@JJMFB1 I just did research on it. "Strawberry Field" was a field right next to an orphanage (Salvation Army Childrens Home) in which John Lennon went to play when he was a child. Along with Penny Lane, it was meant for a sense of nostalgia for his childhood years. And yes, psychedelic drugs such a LSD played a huge role in this song
me encanta el intro, paul tocando el teclado, PSICODELIA TOTAL!!!!!!!!
