It looks like thick Dymo tape ... the stuff used to make labels and the like. Its used to scribe panel lines back in .... easy to apply and has a firm enough edge not to buckle and ruin a line,.

Yeah, I've used the Dymo lable tape when re-scribing panel lines! It's pretty useful on curved surfaces!

It is plastic label tape, the stuff you use in labeling devices to make a quick, durable label. It can be found at any office supply store (or Walmart) for about $5 a roll and will make scribing a heck of a lot easier.

Thanks for reply It seems way thicker than dymo tape and it seems to be more stiff. Sigh I wish I can understand some Japanese, the audio said something like Pla-ban , Pura-Ban or so

@shishihenge If you have a broken self retracting tape measure you can break a piece off that and use that as a scribing rule. Usually tape measures are made from thin metal and therefore stable in use. You can heat it to remove some of the springiness if that is a problem.

@shishihenge It is "pura-pan" ...plastic panel's short form.. basically u can buy tamiya thin plastic sheet, which this guy bended in his way to make custom panelling tape/tool.

Just wondering, at 04;37, the description says .9 and .7, I'm guessing that this is the diameter of the Brass pipes that he's using. However,I can't seem to find the .9mm and .7mm Brass Pipes anywhere online. Did he use .9mm and .7mm Brass pipes here?
