Actually at the Peel they were totally boring as they were promoting Home & Minor EP. So they played like 3 or 4 heavy/fast songs and the rest wasn't that good.
But this is of course the matter of taste.
Yes, they are underrated. But the most underrated band for me is Sugartooth which is (was) as good as Soundgarden or even better but barely known.
As for the crowd... I think english crowd is a bunch of wankers. Even on super heavy and trash speed songs by Oceansize like Part Cardiac, No Tomorrow, It's My Tail And I Chase It.... they stand still like they were listening to Jean Michelle Jarre or something.
