yea but i read somewhere on the internet that you can set it to be docile. and ive had alot of time on the simulator. plus i had the axe cp which i couldnt fly.
Then you might want to consider getting a MSR if you want a tiny heli or a Blade SR for a heli thats a bit smaller than a B400 but will be much easier to fly. The Blade SR is a fixed pitch heli so it will be easier to fly.
@EmptySpace0 The Blade SR is not FP, it is CP. The blade SR is also only eaiser to fly "out of the box", if anyone looks up the beginner settings for the Blade 400, the Blade 400 is actually easier to fly than the Blade SR. The SR is meant for price, for 200 bucks you get a package that can't be beat for the price.
wtrcf123, If you have the money, go Blade 400 and don't fly it till you change the DX6i settings found online for beginners. If you can't justify the 500 bucks, the SR is fine.
hey can someone help please. im looking for a heli after the blade mcx and ALOT of practice on the simulator and idk wheather this is a good heli or not
The B400 is a big change. Not only is it hard to fly but the prices for crashes go way up. The mcx will hardly ever break while the B400 will fly into pieces. I would recommend getting a Blade MSR or a Blade SR (when it comes out). They are both fixed pitch helis which will make it easier to fly and will give you a good idea of what a collective pitch would fly like. . Don't go for a CP pro 2, its just going to be less stable than the B400, not worth the money
change pitch curve back to normal as soon as u can hover on the spot ,as u will then find standard settings easier Because the controls are way more responsive. tighten blades so they dont move on start up it actually causes more damage wen u crash.
Ok, but know that more pitch and thus lower head speed for roughly the same amount of lift equals lower tail rotor speed as well. Looks ok now but get it into some wind and you will see the difference. Your Gyro and tail servo will be working overtime to compensate.
Awesome, Empty! Looks like it was really stable for ya, and the pitch curves are working well for you... The tail seemed to be behaving as well, all looks good from here! The video isn't bad at all, either, I was expecting a lot less, it came out great, actually!

Looks to me like the rotor blades are way too loose? Don't think they should fold up so much when you spool down.

I have to tighten the blades. They were too tight before so I loosened them but now they are too loose.
