@MattHXIV The catcher does, coz he puts his body behind every pitch. In cricket, the ball can be legally bowled at a batsman's face, legs, groin, throat. And not just once to milk a walk. A good cricket batsman can face hundreds of deliveries in a single innings. Hence the protection.

Baseball is an even more boring game that cricket! An MLB study showed the average fan at an MLB baseball game consumes 4000 calories!! Fans spend more time eating and drinking than actually watching the game and they wonder why 1 in 3 Americans are obese!!!!! Thank god they dont care about baseball any where else in the world

@SamuelJoaodaSuica Both games are equally awful but I agree there are far superior athletes playing baseball as America is the light years ahead of any other country in terms of strength and conditioning and bodybuilding. Also widespread steroid use.However there are also a lot of fat out of shape baseball players. Look at todd coffey for the nationals you would see a more in shape athlete in your local pub. At least cricket doesnt contribute to obesity in the crowd too like baseball does.

While I do see how Baseball fans may be less healthy than Cricket fans, this still doesn't change the fact that Cricket is more boring than Baseball. Atleast Baseball has frequent home-runs which are not bad to watch, but in Cricket the ball never flies that far, and again, Cricket games last twice as long as baseball games and have half the action. Also, a Cricket Test Match can last up to 5 DAYS! Now, you tell me, how is that not the most boring major sport in the WHOLE WORLD???

But as i said b4 if you want to compare cricket you cant take tests as cricket's representative, its gotta be T20...3 hours of play with virtually every 2nd ball hit in the air.....An average T20 match has more than 15-20 sixes, compared to baseball where you dont have more than 3-4.

As for your opinion, its completely ok as everything is not liked by everyone...

@SamuelJoaodaSuica this video is so not showing true cricket, all this is showing is batsmen hitting the ball but not hard or getting runs, if you look at more cricket videos you see there is a mix of explosive hitting and defending, i like baseball its gud don't get me wrong, but cricket is more difficult cause when the ball is coming at you it is also spinning making it harder to hit. As far as im concerned, baseball is more boring while cricket is more fast paced, look at more vids nd you see

Compared to baseball, maybe, but honestly, I hate both Cricket and Baseball. Neither of the two sports has the same action as Football, Basketball, Tennis, Table-tennis, Rugby etc.
