Yes, but this isn't EXACTLY the rebel alliance. If you've played the game you'll know that in the 2nd level you fight guys that are in these suits... rebels OR not, that's who you fight.

Because if you played the game this would make a lot more sense. They call you a Jedi in the game, and you are Darth Vader's apprentice, and you have to kill the empire because Darth Vader want's to destroy Emperor Palpatine.
