0-999 first

1000-1999 second

2000-third

Uh, the second millennium refers to the second thousand years of the existence of universities, not the arbitrary time frame established by the Gregorian calendar system.  Other religious traditions may disagree with your interpretation.

...And the last time I "emberesed" myself was in college when some hot embers from a bong fell on my naked crotch while I was siting on the edge of a hot tub doing body shots. It was painful but also embarrassing.

I did, however, misspell "Millennium".
