If it snows where you live, you should have your own tow trap. They only cost about $30. I got mine over ten years ago. I've pulled out cars and been pulled out several times.

You don't understand, man...there's a certain subset of people with 4x4s who just WAIT for bad weather and go patrolling around for people to tow, just cause they can.

In Southern California, the most random act of kindness we can do is push broken-down cars out of the way, but it's always uplifting to do it.
