this is not Gel... Gel nails ALWAYS need a UV curing light, this is LP acrylic, u can tell by the way it sets and is applied, as for the person who had their "Gel" nails done buy the bull shitting guy who said it was... don't go back

I have gel nails, and they use this kind of powder too I didn't have to use a UV light, I don't know why. The times that I've needed a UV light is when an actual gel (rather than a powder and mix to make the gel) is used.

oh ok it must be a gel compound not used in Australia... all gel products I and my workmates use need gel at all times... what gel product is it? would be very interested in using it (love new products LOL)

I have no idea what it was, the lid clearly said gel powder though lol. I know I'm not going back there because I love the look of the REAL gel (the whole under the uv light thing) and with this they looked as rough as the acrylic nail does with the difference that is more transparent than acrylic, honestly it doesn't compare to the real thing I never seen that in my life either. I kept asking the guy and he insisted it was gel. =[ But I'm not happy with it.
