He didn't say anything like that, he just said that he doesnt directly need to compare any war (i.e. Iraq) to Vietnam, instead he believes that a war should be judged on a case by case basis, not based on some post vietnam hippy blanket ideology of no wars every. where are you getting this idea from, the truth is barack has been against the war since 2002, when he pubicly spoke about about it. He only voted to fund the war after he realized that the war was inevitable and the best and only option was to pass funding for the war to make sure our troops were well equipped.
