@jillywilson ALW hasn't produced a good show since Sunset Boulevard, if you can even call that one of them. He created brilliance with Phantom in 1986, but it couldn't have reached the heights it did without Hart and Stillgoe's lyrics, Hal Prince's direction, Michael Crawford's creation of the seminal part, etc. Plus, he said Gerard Butler's voice is perfect for the part of the Phantom.

I can't say in acurate words how much I love this song, and Ramin's preformance of it. His expression and voice control is just impecible. Also, I love his expression at 2:32 when he sings, "let them die". He looks so freaking pissed and manic depressent. It's phenominal! Oh God I wish he would come visit N. Eastern USA. @brookeechan This is just a video to get the word out it was the first one they had up kind of like a trailer to get the word out for a movie. So they made him look nice. He wears the mask in the actual musical go through some other videos that have now been posted from it but is his face still scared under that? I don't know according to this story a lot has changed since the first one including the phantom turning into a gentleman.

I saw this in Melbourne earlier this year. As a singer and a big fan of the original phantom I'm saying this is so deserving to be a sequel. It's just as good. (Now this is where you start to hate me) But what's with the casting? Phantom's too young. The songs are great but the singing sounds so pop-like. And face it... a lot of you (females) like this Ramin guy for his looks. He doesn't have the menacing and disturbed vibe the phantom should give. Neither did [awesome] Crawford but why repeat?
