Its weird that the american version just looks like almost the same film as the Swedish version in the trailer but with other people. Uglier people on the girl-side haha. :)

But we Swedes have to trust the americans. They will always do better movies then us. But admit the Swedish version was pretty good considering the budget is like a 1/10 of the american version :)

i wouldn't say the Swedish version sucked. at all. it was rather good. Just, I think Fincher's version has the potential to match it, or possibly even beat it in terms of quality.

I really can't wait for Fincher's version! If the teaser trailer & film score from the site were amazing, I can't begin to imagine how f-king awesome the movie will be!!

P.S. Rooney Mara makes a better Lisbeth Salander. Like it or not, you know I'm right.

This is the only film coming out this year that looks amazing. Oh by the way, the original Swedish film wasn't great. It was filled with cliches. Stop acting like it's some untouchable masterpiece cause it's not.

Both my husband and I loved the three books. We read through them one after the other and couldn't put them down. I would recommend reading them before seeing the films as quite a bit is left out and some people struggle a bit with the storyline if they haven't read the books first.

I want to see the trailer, nothing will beat the Swedish version and Naomi as Salander. I will go see in because of Daniel Craig!!!!

i love the books. i don't think this new version will be any better than the Swedish one. The movies that already out with Noomi Rapace, are amazing. They shouldn't be re-adapted by the US....we are just going to make them into a joke.

@kgrace95 I respectfully disagree. Fincher is an amazing director, and he's never made a bad film in my opinion. Some of then haven't been stunning, but most have always left an effect on me.

Also, Craig is perfect for Blomkvist, Noomi "looks" more like Lisbeth(Noomi is great but she wasn't what I imagined when I read the books), and Trent Reznor's score excites me.

I'd rather have two awesome Millenium trilogies than one, y'know?
