You dont have to have the special data plan that the G1, and sidekicks require. But if you want to use the internet, you have to have Web access along with your minutes, text messaging, myfaves, ect. So the phone will work great even if you dont use/have internet access on it.

you can get a "no data plan" which is what i got. that means that you dont have the internet on the phone at all.(and you dont have to pay monthly for the internet either)

ok i have a question i went and got the blackberry 8900 its awesome. But its like my curve so i wanted a change. so i took it back and got a g 1i love the apps and touch screen. BUT like on the 8900 u can use ur mp3s for ur alarm sms mms the g 1 u can not . so with the behold or memoir can u use the mp3s for the alarm, sms,mms etc. SOME ONE PLZ RESPOND. CUZ I NEED TO GET THE G 1 BACK TO THE STORE AND EXCHANGE IT. HELL IM READY TO GO BACK TO THE BB 8900. IT IS AWESOME BUT U GOTTA PAY 4 UR APPS.

Almost every phone now can get (or comes with) Telenav GPS.. which absolutely SUCKS. I had it on my Sony w760. Its $10 a month (which for a year's service is $120, you might as well buy a Tom Tom or a Garmin!!). And its extremely slow and doesn't always work correctly

I don't have iTunes, but go to phone settings then tap USB settings and then select Mass Storage. Use the USB cable it came with, hook it up go to the home screen and look on your computer. Find the folder then drag and drop your music into its folder. The memory card already has premade folders for music, pictures, etc. Make sure its mp3
