I had the same bike and the same exhaust (apart from mine was the full chrome one), you have to do about 500-600 miles on her before the real noise comes from the exhaust, trust me, then you will never buy anything apart from "Two Brothers" again!!

What i've experieced, at my uni there's two kawasaki ninja 250cc.. One with TB and one with yoshi, and the yoshi makes the bike like sound a lot heavier, or so it seems.

this video doesn't do its justice for 2 bros, I own an 09 R6 with this exhaust and TTuner mids and trust me, it makes a huge difference between the sound and performance.

well believe guys, you'll only notice a difference when be standing next to the bike, I drive myself a yam r6 08, the stock exhaust is really good, but this one more brutal, if you change on full system exhaust will give ya more power, ofcourse installing pc as well, when this bike comes behind - it's the feeling of 1 littre bike comming out ;) going to put this to my bike.

huh of course there is a difference between the 2 exhausts...you can hear it clearly at 2:13.

I bought it too, but they took it although I have done everything (papers, permisson, etc.) to go legal...it was too loud...109 db at 7000 rpm. 103 db is the allowed maximum.

You won't hear much a difference with a simple exhaust change on an 2006+ R6. The Cat chokes the bike up so bad that changing the exhaust is only for looks. Notice it seemed a hair louder with the stock exhaust. The only way to open an R6 up is with headers back, a system. When I had my 50th R6 I ran MJS Performance Headers with a GYT-R Slip on. Amazing sound, loudest R6 I have ever heard.

No it doesn't. They removed it and put a mid-pipe in. They did that before the video was shot.

There is a Mid-pipe but its a cheap Ebay "Y-Pipe"

which doesn't help the bike or sound.

The only way to gain sound and performance with an R6 is to put new headers on her.

As for my current bike, 2009 600rr, the cat has 5% restriction. VERY nice of Honda to leave her opened up for a loud growl. Engine is chocked down beyond belief though.

Well you put a slip-on on. Sometimes you won't notice a difference unless you have full piping with out the catalytic converter. I have a full system two bro's on my r6, and its loud as fuck.

Oh really? Well thats cool then. I just installed the Two brothers can for my Ninja 250, and while it sounds so much better than the stock, it doesn't have that street Bike sound like so many others do. Mainly because of the smaller engine. It just doesn't put out that same hum

Honestly man, there's not much of a difference. The Two Bros is louder, but not overwhelming louder than the stock. dang I hope im able to get an R6 in 2010.

actually up close and personal it's a big difference at low to medium revs. At high revs the bike is so loud that it is hard to hear, but regardless, the Two Brothers looks so much better than stock.
