He said if the guy in the earlier position checks, it means he doesnt have a strong pocket. Wouldn't an earlier seat also check to cast out the line and see what he can catch? I'm fairly new to hold em and I many times check when I have a strong pocket. Then the butthole at the table try's to muscle around and then I raise his bet...also betting before the flop and checking after it, I think would throw off the table.

this doesn't work cause people 3 bet pre flop to much these days so your in bad spots and it turns a small ball player into a big ball pot when they do call 3 bets. This doesnt' work why daniel gets destroyed on highstakes poker. Big ball poker is better it puts more pressure on players and you get more folds.

The only way a Flush situation like that would be a chopped pot is if the Board (TABLE) had the 5 best clubs; all higher than whatever each player had in their hand as their best club.

@bekimsp Can't happen.... Board (TABLE) has a 7 clubs and PLAYER2 has a seven of clubs. This is wrong as hold'em is a one deck game. You cannot have two sevens of Clubs in the same deck.

Your answer to the question not asked... If PLAYER2 had one club that isn't already showing (Let's say PLAYER2 has either a: 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, T, or J) PLAYER1 would win. Winner is the best five cards. Since the K Clubs is the best club in a players hand, then PLAYER1 would have the winning hand.
