Yep we all need someone. Now I have no one, but this is such a beautiful song. I sent it to some of those who used me and when they got what they wanted from me, they left me just when I needed them the most. I hope they got the message, but I don't think they ever will. All I can say is I am tired of trying. However: I can still dream, and they can't take that away.

Only then can there be mutual understanding and love.

This goes for my sister who killed herself when I was 18 and now to the man who has left me after 10 years of marriage. I was there for him through multiple deployments and schools. He feels good about himself though. I love him enough still to wish nothing but the best for him.

It wasn't my mom that left me,it was my sister that was taken from me just when I needed her the most,I was 6yr's old and she was 16yr's,it has been 37yr's now and I still miss her every day,and I still ask the ? why.But I know that God had his reason's I just wish that he could have explained them to my heart. tihs song reminds me of the time my dad died. i had just found out my husband was cheating on me but i gave him a second just and just after my dad died i called him to tell him what happend and he didn't really care so i left him and followed my dear dads wishes and moved on with life without the man that was meant to love but but clearly didn't.

Dolly Parton is a brilliant songwriter in her own right but Randy Vanwarmer deserves a few more hits on Youtube for his own original version, as he wrote this song, which was based on the loss of his girlfriend, who walked out on him. He had an unfotunate ending. Sad but beautiful and probably means a lot of diferrent things to a lot of different people.

all my heart breaks is reflected in this song noi matter who sings it. it sucks just too see some one tell u goodbye just when things are going ok and good and getting better and it seems no matter where i am at or going through this song keeps ringing in my mind and a day does not go by just thinking y and yet no one to respond to or do things for any more it sucks.

Yep we all need someone. Now I have no one, but this is such a beautiful song. I sent it to some of those who used me and when they got what they wanted from me, they left me just when I needed them the most. I hope they got the message, but I don't think they ever will. All I can say is I am tired of trying. However: I can still dream, and they can't take that away.

Each time I listen to this song my day is filled with tears in remembrance of my two cherished and loved friends(Barr..OGB Utobo and Chukwudi Aguwamba)who died on the same deadly Enugu Abakaliki exp way 2007/2008 in an auto crash.at the age of 28 both of them just just after serving Nigeria(NYSC).....Barr OGB and Bro Chuks I really missed you guys because I realized that i need you guys now more than I needed you b4 and no were to find comfort.....
