I'm currently in recovery, and while I've used a variety of drugs, including LSD and heroin, I've never used meth. I have met quite a few meth addicts in recovery, however, and I must say that meth is the most terrifying drug I've ever run across. Meth can change your brain structure, leaving you a stuttering dunce unable to think clearly or concentrate, even after you've stopped using. Do scare tactics work? Who knows? But I'm sure they don't hurt.

An otherwise healthy, most likely straight, teenage boy is driven to do things he never would have dreamed he would do just to get an artificial high. This is what addictions do to you.
