@Isacson81 Evilness is the result of all the worng things we do as humans, and all that can be found in any religion, I'm not discussing that, I just say to you that it is unfair to label pagan societies, because of our believes. If wbien closer to nature is evilness for you ok, go ahead believe whatever you want, but be respectful with other religions, that's something almost everyone need to learn...
I'm just going to butt into this conversation and say if pagans were satanic because they saraficed people to their gods does that mean the Aztecs were satanic and I'm sure I'm part of the bible I'm a bit rusty so correct me if I'm wrong god wanted some old guy to sarafice his kid or something but in the end he grabs a lamb and slits it's throat as a sarafice to me that sounds rather pagan, you don't see Christians slitting lambs throats after they commit a sin, shouldn't they do that it was in
@NzMagg0t No, but you do see Christians falsely accusing people of being Satanic witches and burning them at the stake in the 1600's. More bloodshed came from Christianity than Paganism, that is a fact.
Pagans nowadays are just weird. Peaceful and kind, but weird.
The Christian Right on the other hand are still intolerant and crazy.
I am glad Pagans stopped sacrificing things at altars, but its obvious that they are just Pagans because they hate organized religion but are too cowardly to admit they are Atheists...
@leegeorgeson You honestly don't know what the fuck you are talking about. Oh, and I'm glad "normal" Christians stopped burning people at the stake and drowning then too.
@Astaphot Yep, that's what I've been saying for years. There is no such thing as Satan in the Pagan religion. The object of Pagans' worship was nature.
its funny how people can look at the things we used to believe thousands of years ago and laugh at how silly they sound.......but then they still go to church and pray to some guy in the sky and think jesus woke up after he died and strolled about town ....
@carycomic1 Weird. So, they rather spend another million to spend on another person narrating the same show? I could see if it was an updated version of it. Or another episode.
@carycomic1 I noticed that with stuff on History and History International they have the same show but different narrators. It's like. Why two different people? I could see if it's in Spanish or something.
This is an excellent documentary. A little short given it was made for TV, but it still packs in a lot. It can be purchased on DVD from History Channel and Amazon.
Where can I found the information of this documentary? I mean like the name of the director, autor, producer and all that stuff?

Nowadays Left wing and Right wing nuts try to ruin every holiday.
Left Wingers: "Wearing costumes is just as racist as genocide!"
Right Wingers: "We believe in spirits and goblins! Dressing as them insults Christians!"

@calvingmail Read the bible, it has pages and pages of instructions of how to sacrifice a bull because God likes the smell.
