@MultiSebbes Justin is on the left, and Trent is on the right. They both use Ibanez guitars, Justin a 7, and Trent an 8. This song can be played on any 7 or 8 string guitar because 8 strings don't use dropped tunings, Drop Ab also known as Drop G# is half step down with a dropped low B string on a 7 string guitar. You're not tuning the guitar up, you're tuning it down. Also, the 8th string would just be tuned down one step to compliment the 1st string, Standard is GBEADGBE on an 8.
