Are you an animal rights activist or vegetarian? neither am i and i do agree the real animal killng was not needed but it's been done before in the 70's with Man from Deep River, Mountain of the Cannibal God, Jungle Holocaust then finally Cannibal Ferox all did actual animal butchery on film even in Jungle Holocaust which is a prequel of sorts from the same director has a live alligator being gutted as it moves and you see every inside detail, what do you think of that?

It does sound more like a love theme from some seventies movie. I think that's one of the reasons I found it so chilling when i first heard it. It's a very interesting film. I completely deplore the animal violence though. Absolutely no need for it.

In my opinion it sounds beautiful and fits well to the movie's atmosphere, at all Cannibal Holocaust is a classic cannibal movie and quite disturbing for peope who aren't into horror movies i guess.
