people are chatting breeze! i've had an iPhone, samsung u740, u800 and galaxy but this is by far the best phone i've owned.

Reasons why:

1. great camera (LED flash, has lens cover, intuitive dedicated camera controls, panorama mode) 2. smart enough (not a smartphone but has a nice calendar, 3.5 mm jack, email, wifi and can have the radio/music player going in the background) 3. durable! (i ski, bike, rave, etc. so my phone's gotta hold up and this one does - all the other models cracked!)

Yes. The video recorder on it is just like a camcorder or digital camera. I would recommend the phone for the camera and video on it. Especially with the 5.0 megapixel. They are unbelievable! I just don't like the "phone" part of it. It's more a digital camera than a phone, in my opinion.

It's an awesome picture phone, prob the best there is, but as far as the talking on it goes, you can charge it all night long and text and talk the next day and the phone will be dead by 7pm. I bought a new battery for it, and that didn't do too much good. Also, it likes to freeze too.

I had a hard time connecting through my wifi I didn't have t-mobiles web2go feature but we figured out that by changing the default browser to wifi it will bypass the part where it asks you to add internet through t-mobile.

Well somehow, you are not fully connected to the Wi-Fi network, because when I connect to the net via my Wi-Fi, I surf for FREE.

I also have Wi-Fi in my house, so that makes a big difference. Where are you when trying to connect to the Wi-Fi?

This is a great quick review/tutorial of its strongest feature - the camera. I learned about the special keys from this video = 5*!

I got it and am _very_ happy with it.

The pan feature works ... and I'm am idiot!! :)

I try to make bread and need to take photos of my results. This is the perfect camera ... I mean phone for me.

My old phone could only make 9 sec videos - this one has a timer 0:00:00 !

It also has 1 GB and a 4 GB external... which I need to learn to use.

I have At&t for 8yrs now, no problems with my phone, thier customer service is great, the only time i even have drop calls is when thier trees is near by or im in the metro station. thats the only places I get drop calls. My signal is good. So I don't know why you people are dissing At&t. They been thier longer than most carriers.

According to secret sources, t-mobile should be releasing this phone in the fall as their first of three 5 mp phones. Another will be samsung and the third will be on their upcoming 3g network by First quarter 2009.

What makes me so mad is T-Mobile is copying AT&T's exclusive 3G Network. But Oh well, AT&T is already the richest Cell Company in the world. Hmm. YOU do some research. About a month ago, I talked to an AT&T represenative in the store. I asked them if they knew of upcoming phone releases around November-January. They said Samsung was in the development of a phone that was supposed to kick the iPhones ass. Such as an 8.1 MP camera. Improved WiFi. Better than the Instinct for Shitty Sprint and better than the GLYDE for unreliable verizon wireless. Samsung even admits if you email them, there biggest cell project ever is for AT&T.

No. If you go to AT&T's website, they have more than 75 million CELLULAR customers. and if you look in the right places, Verizon doesn't even come close.

AT&T is NOT about to have its first 3G anniversry. Because even before January of 2006, AT&T (Cingular at the time) made the SAMSUNG SYNC. Which was a 3G device.

Globally AT&T is the largest due to their WORLDWIDE coverage in 160+ countries. Nobody has service in more than 2 countries besides AT&T. DO SOME RESEARCH!

This phone has a 5mp Kodak camera with xenon flash camera vs 2mp NO FLASH on rokr. 4gigs vs 2gigs. Linux vs Moto operating system. This one has wifi. I guess you can say its an updated version of the rokr, and funny thing is t-mobile is expected to release this by christmas.

Garbage factor on both, no 3g for the upcoming oct. 1st release of 3g for t-mobile.

I agree, but the phone has linux OS and wifi. 350mb internal memory expandable up to 4gig, kinda low but that should keep the phone affordable. NO 3G, oh well it wouldnt work in the U.S.A. if it was 3g anywayz.

you must be retarded. The reason letters pop up on the screen when you touch numbers on the keypad is not because there are also letter printed on the keypad next to the numbers. When you strike a key a signal is sent into the phone where it decides what the pressing of that key means. The phone doesn't see that you hit 5 twice, tilt it's head up to check what letters are on the 5 key, and THEN a "j" appears. Please rethink the way you conceive of things, it is off by a long ways.
