Nie tylko polacy grają w wiedźmina, największy rynek zbytu tej gry, to stany zjednoczone, i większość krajów europy... Po za tym popatrz w soundtracku (jeśli kupiłeś grę, a nie zerżnąłeś ją z neta okradając przy tym autorów gry) nazwy nut są takie same.

Ale mam zamiar kupić komputer laptopa sprzedać i kupić dwójkę z jedynką ;] Wtedy pogram :D Jak dla mnie troche filmiki w grze są kiepsko zrobione... zbyt sztywne ruchy wiedźmina na filmiku jak walczy z opętaną córką króla. Ale i tak sie ciesze, że polska gra wyszła na rynek światowy. Pozdrawiam.

Efeorh witcher is based on a Elves blood book or something like this but what book witcher two is going to be based on?

You got it wrong. Witcher (the game) is what happens after the witcher saga. It was not based on any of Sapkowski's book's. Blood of Elves is only 3th book about Geralt. There are 7 books in all (the first 2 are short stories that build the world).

Man this is awesome. I've just watched a video yesterday. And Witcher 2 : Assasins of Kings (PC) is on the way. I don't know when it'll be out or if my PC can run it smooth but that's good news. I'd buy new parts just to play another cool witcher game. GO CDPROJEKT!

Yeah, most of the music from The Witcher is like it. Seriously, the games brilliant. Very authentically medieval/low fantasy. Grim.

It's one of the few games where I've actually said "Oh, thank Christ, it's dawn".

No, it's Low.

Not a lot of magic, primitive, real world-ish state of living. Everything sucks, and everything's very gritty. Yes, there are elves and dwarves, etc, but the way they're portrayed is definitely on the low fantasy end of things.

Do you readed the books of a.sapkowski, on which is based all witcher world? It's fantastic world, with humans elfes and dwarves but monsters too. THERE is lot of magic, and fantastic things like in the Lord of the rings... It's a original world in which often the heroes (Geralt etc) are really epic! So it's a high fantasy. Enought, ciao.

Compared to traditional fantasy tropes, though, it's low. The game is definitely Low.

Epic isn't necessarily high/low specific. Conan the Barbarian did plenty of epic things, but the works featuring him are definitely low. The Witcher actually features psudo-realistic medieval environments. Grungy, gritty, filthy.

The level of monsters and the general dark feel of everything pushes it towards Low. It's not a happy, hopeful, prosperous world.

This game is soooo underrated. I wish they would bring it to consoles just so it could get more praise from people. Same goes for the book, it deserves more praise. It's up in the ranks of Lord of the Rings I think.
