All that happened was she saw the kitchen over there on the right-hand side. Glad to see Caterpillar still has the fatastic brakes they had years ago. I drove Cat 777 back in the early '80s. Hauled downgrade fully loaded with slate or sandstone working 10 hr shift. The brake oil temp indicator moved up in the green a little. The brakes never faded. Braking was always there and I had complete confidence in the truck. The brakes were as good on the last load as they were on the first load. Cat brakes can't be beat. Thanks for the video.

Cat 777 trucks are straighforward diesels, they are not hybrid drives. Cat are developing a range of heavier diesel-electric trucks, but they are not yet on sale.

it's loaded is why they look like that..any haul truck with a load, all 6 tires squat, and the duals damn near touch each other...and 170 tons refers to the payload, not the total weight of the truck..ie, a Komatsu 830E at full payload weighs somewhere in the range of 830,000 lbs...and with has a 240 ton payload
