Originals are expensive and hard to maintain compared to other carve oriented trucks.

Sector 9 does not make Gullwing they are separate enties. But they are both owned by Billabong as far as I know. Comet doesn't make Randal and Randal doesn't make comet. But Randals come stock on Comets.

I don't know. That board looks nice but I haven't seen anyone tear it up yet the way guys do on Original or S9 boards. I'm afraid it's overdone. Since the wheels rotate about the x-axis there's not much wheel surface in contact with the road. I'd love to ride one and give a better comment than this one but that's my initial feeling on it.

Go with Sector9 or Original Boards. Both have great long boards for carving up the roads.

I mixed and matched mine. Chris Cole ZERO Battle Axe board, with Gull Wing longboard trucks, and Sector Nine 70mm wheels + Risers and Bearings. It zooms like a race car, absolutely amazing.

Why would anyone want a skateboard that's super expensive and doesn't have a kicktail? Skateboards are awesome, because you spent $140 or less on it, and you can get "spare parts" for one anywhere.

Suspension = tons of delicate parts to get ruined by dirt and street grime. It sucks enough when $10 bearings get ruined just from riding around.
