@rsteele1113 Actually, the record when they still ran a full 1/4 mile in top fuel was in the 4.30's. I would be helpful if you had a CLUE what you were looking at before you comment. This was an 8th mile race, not to mention the record was for an 8th mile pass on a RADIAL tire. If you can't tell the difference between an 8th mile run and a 1/4 mile run, you might want to refrain from commenting.

@Scotts87LX the 1/4 mile record wasnt in the 4.30's, officially Doug Kalitta run 4.4200 but never backed it up, tony schumacher ran 4.428 to take the championship in 2006. thats the fastest backed up top fuel pass ever.

If you know enough to refute the validity of the information I posted about the video, then you would have EASILY known it was 8th mile, but obviously you didn't. If it was a 1/4 mile... 4.447 seconds would be upwards of the 327mph mark. NOT 175mph. Its obvious. You were talking about top fuel. If you know what that is or what they run. You would know that.
